Take one look at this photo and tell me that my grandad doesn't look like a) the president or b) like he's running for president. Have you ever seen anyone so dignified?? As Sean says, all that's missing from the background is a tricolour! Yes, Ireland has only recently elected a new president, but I'm telling you, if Gerry here was running he'd have had Michael D, David Norris, Mary Davis and co shaking in their boots!

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. I have been taking photos but haven't quite had the wherewithall to transfer them onto my laptop and then upload to the website - times have been wild! We'll say no more...and yes I missed outfit of the week last week, so sue me! The good news is, outfit of the week is back with a bang thanks to Sean Roberts. Not only is he easy on the eye but I just love how he has adopted the tradition (which admittedly is one I thought had been left behind with my grandfather's generation) of wearing your Sunday best. Plus the tie, the jacket and the trousers are all tweed. Mega!

Apologies for the delay in this post - it's been a busy week. But last Saturday, 31st March, I went to see Sean be one of the first people to run in the Olympic Stadium at the Olympic Park Run , where I meet the most bizarre moscots known to man, Wenlock and Mandeville. As if that wasn't entertaining enough, they even had a Queen tribute band playing, which of course got me in in the mood for a gig, so later that evening I went to see one of my favourite bands from when I was 14, PULP at the Royal Albert Hall! It was all so exciting that I fell asleep on the bus home and ended up a couple of miles away from the flat. Rock n'roll baby.

Lois Foulger of You Look Awesome fame takes the outfit of the week spot this week - largely because of the hilarious stories that accompany her simple but stylish outfit. The clothes are all from H&M and the boots are from Dorothy Perkins. The ribbon is part of the decoration off a Christmas present that was wrapped nicely and sunglasses from Topshop. Lois says: 'wearing a bodysuit with no poppers at work means sitting on the loo in just your bra haha'.
